Our license fees include free upgrades, maintenance and high priority email support for 12 months. All prices are shown in US dollars.
The license is per server/domain name and is a function of the number of employees in the organization. The number of employees is defined as the total number of employees (both full-time, part-time and sub-contractors) of the company where U-Upload is to be installed. Please remember that if a third-party (for example a system integrator) is purchasing U-Upload, then the number of employees is not of the third party, but the total number of employees of the target company.
Under this agreement, Unlimi-Tech Software reserves the right to request information regarding the total number of employees in a company.

(*) All Prices are in US dollars . This license is for unlimited
number of end-users. The license is valid for a single server
or domain name with one extra dev key. The license will
support multiple sub-domains. There is an annual fee to renew
the applet license. The cost of the renewal is 40% of the total
license price. This fee will entitle you to support and upgrades
to all 1.x versions of the applet for an additional 12 months.
For Example: Your
company has 500 employees. You will be implementing U-Download
on web-site that uses load balancers on 2 different servers.
This means, you need to purchase 2 different licences of U-Download
under the Large business license plan. The license price is
$399 for each server. Since there are 2 servers invovled,
the total price will be $798. There will be also an annual renewal
of 40% every year. Or for $1,995.00, you could purchase a perpetual license.
Please read and understand the following:
- We strongly encourage you to
first download and try our software before making a purchase.
During your evaluation period, please contact us and we will
provide you with free support and a free 30 day trial key. Due to our
"try before you buy" policy, we will not give refunds once the production
key has been issued.
- Our license keys are based on the IP or domain name
of the web server that will be hosting the applet.
"Unregistered" nag message will only be removed on the IP address or domain
that was specified during the purchase of the license.
If you purchase a license for your domain, all of your sub-domains will automatically be included.
The IP/domain lock doesn't prevent the applet from connecting to any web server;
it only protects the applet from illegal distribution.
- The applet certificate will
have to be renewed every 2 years. The current certificate will expire
in February 2009. Be sure to download the latest version
at that time.
- You are entitled
to one development key free of charge when you purchase
a license. The development key will be valid for 3 months from the date of purchase. Each additional development key will cost $50
per key per 3 months or $200 per year. You must have a valid production license
in order to purchase development keys.
- The license includes telephone
and email support for one year, including bug fixes, and all upgrades.
- There is a $100 fee to transfer
your license to another IP or domain name.
- There is an annual fee to
renew the applet license . Unless stated otherwise,
the cost of the renewal is 40% of the regular price of a
license. (This excludes all specials and rebates.) This
fee will entitle you to support and upgrades to all new
versions of the applet for an addtional 12 months.
The renewal payment must reach our office before the renewal date.
- You can
purchase a Perpetual license for 2.5
times the price of the first year license price. This will
entitle you to a life-time license of the applet with free
support and maintenance for 5 years from the date of purchase. A prepetual license doesn't need
to be renewed and will not expire. Support and upgrades are included for 5 years starting from the day of purchase.
- The source code is not
provided when you license the applet. If you require some
additional features, we might be able to help you via our
custom software development services.
