It requires no download or configuration from the end-user's perspective. Below are a few implementation scenarios of DocTera.

Commercial Printer: Through DocTera, printers can leverage online file submission and order job tracking to expedite the printing process. Customers who need quick print jobs can use online file submission instead of using expensive courier services to send files to the printer. Creative art work, regardless of file size can easily be uploaded to the Printer’s FTP servers using the customer’s web browser. Once the files are sent, the customer is prompted to include job details such as number of copies, size of printed material, type of paper to be used, etc. This captured information can easily be customized to suit the printing business. Once the job information is captured, the work flow is handled by DocTera as it moves the job from Sales to Prepress and then finally to the Printing and Order fulfillment Department.

Digital Photoshop: Digital Photoshops competing with large retail franchises can now offer a simple and easy solution for online digital picture printing. Using DocTera, customers can easily upload pictures from their camera to the Digital Photoshop. Once the pictures are uploaded, the customer can specify the number of copies for each individual photograph as well as the size and type of finish. This order is processed by DocTera and an email is issued to the operator with a job tracking number. Since DocTera runs on any web-browser, it takes the pain out of installing and configuring a file transfer solution. From the customer's prespective, it is a simple matter of point, click and upload.

Customers can upload digital files using DocTera to the central repository. The repository can be accessed by employees of the architect firm using an administrator password. This virtual work space is completely secure using SSL encryption, protecting the project from prying eyes. Since DocTera is browser based, it can be accessed from any location and requires no download or configuration from the end-users. Once the files have been finalized they can be sent for CAD Plotting.

Health Care Provider: Through DocTera, Health Care providers now have a way of providing secure patient record management. Since DocTera secures file transfer through SSL encryption, it satisfies HIPAAs stringent security requirements. Hospital staff can use DocTera to locate forms and data sheets that are stored in the general file area. DocTera allows for forms to be previewed before job submission. For new forms that are to be printed, hospital staff can easily upload these files and save them in their specific user directory.
