Features
of DocTera
In a simple
implementation of DocTera, a customer can submit a collection
of files with specific job orders. These files are stored
on the central server and the job flows through the organization's
various department. DocTera raises the quality and effectiveness
of core business processes, including product development,
customer management and project management. Some of the features
of DocTera include:
- Collaborative
Framework
DocTera allows for users of the system to collaborate files
individually or through the general file area using a simple,
yet comprehensive user interface.
- System
Independence
DocTera is a platform independent solution meaning that
it can work on any platform, including Windows, Macs and
Unix systems.
- Thin
client
It is a thin-client solution that leaves a footprint of
100Kbytes on the client’s side. This means that users
can access the system from any online computer that is web-enabled.
- Enhanced
Security
DocTera provides for enhanced security by transferring files
over SSL. User management through individual accounts and
passwords protects unauthorized access.
- Customizable
DocTera is a web-based solution that can easily be customized
to fit the organization’s existing web-infrastructure.
- Smarter
Communications
DocTera provides a web portal to improve your business communications
and provide effective campaigns.
